Refund and Cancellation Policy

Future Physicians, LLC operates Future Physician Academy as an annual subscription service. This policy explains what you are paying for, how to cancel, and when refunds are available. It should be read together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. What you are buying

Plain English You are buying one year of access to Future Physician Academy at the tier you select. Prices are annual, not monthly.

When you subscribe to Future Physician Academy, you are purchasing one year of access to the tier you selected:

  • Pre-med and Student: $199 per year
  • Resident and IMG: $299 per year
  • Attending Physician: $399 per year

All prices are in US dollars. Applicable sales tax is calculated and shown at checkout based on your billing address.

2. Automatic renewal

Plain English Your subscription renews automatically each year. We will email you at least 30 days before your renewal date if the price is changing.

Your subscription renews automatically each year on the anniversary of your purchase date. The renewal charge appears on the payment method on file at the same tier price in effect at the time of renewal. If we change subscription pricing before your renewal, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the renewal date.

3. How to cancel

Plain English Cancel any time from your account page. You can also email us. Cancellation stops future billing but does not refund the year you already paid for.

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account page. Sign in at futurephysicianacademy.com and open the Account section. Select Manage Subscription and choose Cancel. Your cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will not be charged again.

You can also cancel by emailing support@futurephysicianacademy.com from the email address on your account. We will process the cancellation within one business day.

4. Access after cancellation

When you cancel, you keep access to Future Physician Academy through the end of the annual period you have already paid for. Your access ends on the date your subscription would have renewed.

5. Refund policy

5.1 7-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers

Plain English New subscribers get a 7-day money-back guarantee if you have used the service minimally.

If you cancel within 7 days of your initial purchase and have used the service minimally (fewer than three tutor sessions), we will refund your first-year payment in full. Email support@futurephysicianacademy.com within the 7-day window to request the refund. We reserve the right to decline refund requests where usage exceeds this threshold.

5.2 Renewals are non-refundable

After the first-year 7-day window, and for all annual renewals thereafter, subscription payments are non-refundable except where required by law. If you cancel a renewed subscription, you keep access through the end of the period you paid for but do not receive a refund of that payment.

5.3 Duplicate charges and billing errors

If you were charged in error or charged more than once for the same period, contact support@futurephysicianacademy.com. We will investigate and refund confirmed billing errors promptly.

5.4 Chargebacks

If you file a chargeback with your card issuer instead of contacting us first, your access will be revoked immediately upon notice of the dispute. Access will be restored only if we prevail in the dispute or if you withdraw the chargeback and the payment is restored.

6. Failed payments

If your renewal payment fails, we will attempt to charge your payment method up to three times over 3 days. If all attempts fail, your access will be suspended until payment is restored. You can update your payment method at any time from your account page.

7. Educational content, not medical advice

Your subscription provides access to educational content and clinical reasoning practice tools. Future Physician Academy is not a medical advice service and does not create a physician-patient relationship. Refund eligibility is not affected by disagreement with clinical opinions expressed in educational content, provided the content is delivered as described.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to active subscribers at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the service after a policy change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
